The area around santa maria maggiore is the main area in rome for irish pubs. the fiddlerâs elbow [ (http://www.thefiddlerselb...)] is the oldest and is at via dellâ olmata, just to the south-west of s. m. maggiore. the druidâs den is at via san martino ai monti 28 head down via merulana and take the second street on the right. the sister pub the druidâs rock pub is at piazza esquilino 1, the other side of the basilica, just after you cross via cavour.
